ADMISSION PROCEDURE FOR NURSERY
  1. Notice
    which is put up on the school notice board with Following details:-
    • date for the distribution of forms
    • "cut off age"
    • Age proof has to be produced i.e Municipal Corporation birth certificate
    • If Catholic then the Baptism certificate is to be produced.
  2. Letters to neighbouring parishes are sent with the attachment of the notice
    • Application form
    • Details of candidate
    • Details of parents
    • Joint family photograph
    • Dates of submission
    • Self Addressed Envelope( 41⁄2” by 91⁄2” with Rs.5/- stamp)
    • Form number is to be mentioned on envelope
    • Application Form
    • Photocopy of Birth Certificate
    • Proof of Residence e.g Ration Card, Telephone Bill, Electric Bill etc.
    • Proof of Occupations
    • Photocopy of Caste Certificate ( only for SC/ST/OBC)
  3. Screening of forms done by Jr Section Coordinator and a team of teachers selected each year.
  4. Letters are sent to candidates selected for interview. (No: of seats are 90 we call for 150 ). They are to bring :-
    • Original Birth Certificate
    • Original Report Card
    • A pen
    • Your identity card from your place of work or in
    • case of private business an identity card attested by a Gazetted Officer.
    • Proof of residence- ration card, telephone bill etc.
    • Original Caste Certificate (only for SC/ST/OBC)
    • Self addressed envelope (4½ ” X 10” )
  5. Regret letters sent to rejected candidates.
  6. Interview is actually Interaction with the Family- Father Mother and Child by Principal, Sister, and selected teachers, sitting in small groups.
  7. The team then collates the information and makes a final decision. Letter is sent to the finally selected candidates( 100 are called for 90 seats)

    • Fees Amount (approximately)
  8. The Jr Section coordinator and Principal address the parents. The History, Ethos and Climate important rules and regulations, JPIC etc of the school are explained to the parents. The Principal invites the parents to feel free to take admission after listening. The parents generally accept, sign a written contract. This is followed by payment of fees, filling of the admission form purchase of books from book seller at his shop.
  9. On a fixed date the parents come with their child a take a picture in the uniform for the ID card.
  10. On the first day of the New Session the Nursery girls come in an hour later than the rest of the school. They get their Id cards and go the class. This is only to get accustomed to the class and school. They leave after a couple of hours.
  11. The following day is usual class.
  12. Preference is give to Catholics, economically poor, neighbourhood, staff children.



ADMISSION TO OTHER CLASSES
  1. This is subject to vacancies after promotion meetings.
  2. Applications are collected with self addressed envelopes.
  3. The date of the admission test is intimated. The Admission test is conducted for English ,2nd Lang and Maths.
  4. Depending on the performance the candidate is selected & the rest of the procedure is the same.



ADMISSION TO CLASS XI
  1. Notice
    which is put up on the school notice board with Following details:-
    • date for the distribution
    • Price of admission forms)
    • Choice of subjects in Science & Humanities
  2. Application form.
    • Details of candidate
    • Details of parents
    • Photograph of the candidate
    • Dates of submission
    • Choice of subjects
    • Form number is to be mentioned on envelope
    • Application Form
    • Photocopy of mark sheets of class 8.9&10.
    • Copies of certificates received in class 8,9,&10.
    • A recommendation letter from the class teacher of class 10
  3. Screening of forms done by Sr Section Coordinator and a team of teachers selected each year.
  4. All candidates may come for the interview. They are to bring :-
    • Original Birth Certificate
    • Original Report Card of class 8,9,&10
    • Original certificates received in class 8,9,&10
  5. Before the interview parents need to read & sign the rules and regulations of the school whereby they promise to abide by them.
  6. Interview is actually Interaction with the Family- Father Mother and candidate by Principal, Sister, and selected teachers, sitting together in a team then makes a final decision. Canddates are selected or rejected there itself
