Art and Craft Exhibition 2024

An Art and Craft exhibition was held at Loreto Day School, Bow Bazar on 9th March 2024, for classes Lower Nursery to 9 and 11, showcasing the creative talents and artistic abilities of our students. The students of class 6 – 9 and 11 brought in all the craft and art works a day or two before the appointed day of the exhibition. Students from various classes had the opportunity to present their unique creations. A few volunteers of class 6-A and 7-A along with the SUPW teachers arranged the classrooms (6-A and 6-B) and displayed the items on the desks, chairs green & soft boards. Flower rangoli and Erica palms where were made and put at the entrance of the classrooms. Once the classrooms were decorated it reflected the handiworks of the children. The art and craft work spoke volumes about the children’s effort, creativity and initiative. The exhibition displayed a wide range of artistic skills including drawings and crafts. The theme varied from festivals, nature and wildlife to abstract art. The parents and the children took keen interest in exploring different classes and appreciated the art and craft displayed. A comment book was kept at the exit door where both parents and teachers pen a few words of appreciation and gratitude. Overall it was a great success.
