It's truly a great opportunity to lead my school, Loreto Day
School Bowbazar. I am privileged and eternally grateful to my
principal and teachers for their unwavering support and
unshakeable faith in me. Getting invested as the school flag
bearer is like living the dream that I once had as a little
girl.
Loreto Day School, Bowbazar is our home where our teachers
nurture little minds with their enormous efforts and able
guidance to make them ready to conquer the world. Every
student is not only trained to become an academic ace but also
excel in co curricular activities. Our school prioritizes
discipline, nurturing a culture of excellence and integrity,
ensuring that we exhibit our best behavior and strong moral
values from a young age. This helps every individual to
develop comprehensively. Every Loretoite honours these moral
principles and bears these badges with immense pride
throughout their life.
To the ones reading this today - Own your abilities and trust
your potential. Let the world storm against you, but stand
firm, knowing that you have the strength to weather life's
challenges. Know that you are the leader of your life, no
matter how many times you stumble or fail. Even if the world
is skeptical about your capabilities, always remember that
every setback refines you into a more resilient individual and
brings you closer to success. Remember that Albert Einstein
had said ------ "Anyone who has never failed has never tried
anything new." Never let negativity clog and clutter your
brain and the noise of other's opinions drown your inner
voice. Dreams only come true if you have the courage to pursue
them.
To our Principal, Miss M King - thank you Ma'am, for being so
supportive of each and every student. To my teachers, I am
forever indebted to you for being the beacons of knowledge and
the guiding light. To my seniors, you are the biggest
motivation. To all my juniors and friends, let's make this
year one to cherish and worthy of remembrance.

Being a student of Loreto Day School Bowbazar has been one of the greatest blessings for me. The students are not only imparted high moral standards but also uphold them and do what is right. The school not only imparts quality education but also inculcates the ability to withstand and bear any life changes. Besides producing women of refined knowledge, the students are also trained to take responsibility and leadership whenever the need arises. The school aims not only for academic excellence but also for holistic developments in moral, spiritual, emotional, intellectual and social aspects. Students of Loreto are prepared to be all-around and aware leaders and citizens of the future. When the world stood still amid a pandemic, Loreto did not stop. The school continues to guide and support its students in every possible way to become well-rounded individuals who can take up challenges and overcome every obstacle in life. Even when going to school became difficult, Loreto continued its work of preparing students for the future. Thus, on behalf of the Student Council, I Jashodhara Pal would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our Principal Ms P Bagchi and the faculty for entrusting us with the duty of leading the school towards a brighter tomorrow.
