School begins with silence & meditation. Morning Assembly is compulsory and all are expected to be on time. It is mandatory for a student to be present in school on the day before school closes for any vacation and on the day it re-opens.
Students are expected to behave in a lady-like manner on all occasions. They should address their teachers and companions with gentleness and courtesy. Refinement of manners, uprightness and self–restraint should distinguish every student of the school.
Since it is an English medium school, students are expected to speak in English during school hours, as this would benefit their academic progress in the subject.
Students are responsible for their books and belongings. Each article must have a label with their name.
No student is to leave the school campus during school hours unless if a written request by the parents has been made and has been duly authorized by the Principal/ Coordinators.
Students are not allowed to bring to school any electronic gadgets such as cell phones and, digital watches, toys, magazines and journals not subscribed to by the school.
Students of classes Nursery – V are allowed to come in coloured dress and give a sapling to the school on their birthday.
Students are not permitted to give personal gifts to members of the staff.
All students from Class V upwards are expected to participate in social work and community service. It is hoped that the students of Loreto will leave school with a strong conviction that, “Happiness consists not in what you can get but in what you can give.”
[ Mahatma Gandhi]
