  • Enrolment in Loreto schools imply, on the part of the pupil and parents, a willingness to comply with the requirements and regulations of the school.
  • Pupils are expected to behave in a manner embodying the core values of Loreto, on all occasions. They should address their teachers and companions with gentleness and courtesy. Refinement of manner, uprightness and self-restraint should distinguish every pupil of the school.
  • The school uniform is a sacred and prized possession of a student. It symbolizes the ethos and culture of the school, of which a student is an integral part.
  • Visits to restaurants, cinemas, multiplexes, other public places, etc in school uniform is a serious breach of discipline, inviting action. Hair colouring, styling gel and fashionable hair cuts are not allowed in school.
  • Students are to be collected from School by parents or a person deputed by parents only. A letter of authorisation to be submitted to the school.
  • Attendance is compulsory on non-teaching or activity days, like Republic Day, Teachers' Day, Picnics, Sports Day, etc.
  • Every pupil is expected to contribute towards school events and local charities.
  • Pupils are responsible for their own books, money, etc. and are advised to keep them safely/ in person. in locked bags or cases. Nothing of valuable nature should be brought to school.
  • Any willful damage to school property will have to be replaced by the offender.
  • Uniform is compulsory even on birthdays. Students are permitted to distribute only sweets to their classmates.
  • Mehendi should not be applied without prior permission from the Principal following the protocol. Permission for the same may be given for the marriage ceremony of one's own brother/sister. If it concerns any other relative, please do not approach the office. No retests will be given for any assessments missed during this leave.
  • No gifts are to be presented to any staff member of the school.
  • Students may be asked to stay back after school hours for an hour or so or may be asked to come in on a holiday. When this happens, the students MUST comply and need to make their own alternate transport arrangement.
  • All students from Class IV and above are required to do some form of social work within and outside school hours and school days.
  • No monetary collection for any purpose whatsoever may be made without the principal’s previous sanction and due notice to parents.
  • Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or any other poor conduct, injurious to the tone of the school, is sufficient reason for dismissal of a pupil.
  • No pupil may leave the school premises without a Gate Pass and the permission of the Principal. Observance of this regulation is of vital importance for the safety of the students and school.
  • If a student is found in possession of a cell phone during school hours, it will be confiscated. Electronic gadgets of any kind are forbidden in the school, without permission.
  • All stakeholders of the school are guided by the Loreto Policy on Social Media.
  • Students are to come prepared for the day's lesson after a period of absence.
  • No books, periodical, comics, newspaper or any other printed matter, not relevant to the school activity, must be brought into the school without prior permission. Failure to comply would lead to confiscation.
  • All students are expected to communicate in English on the school campus except when they have classes in the vernacular.
